Petition for Paving the Gravel Road to Dikhing Village

We, the undersigned residents of Dikhing Village and surrounding communities, respectfully submit this petition to request the immediate paving of the gravel road leading to our village. This road which stretches approximately 4 kilometers, serves as the main access route to Dikhing, a village with a high school that accommodates students from neighboring villages.

The Issues:

• The current gravel road is in a deplorable condition, especially after rain. The road becomes extremely difficult to navigate, creating hazards for both motorists and pedestrians. The damage to the road surface makes it nearly impassable, severely affecting daily travel.

• The road conditions are particularly challenging for students, teachers, and other members of the community who rely on this route for access to the school, medical services, markets, and other vital services.

• As a result, the damaged road is not only causing inconvenience but also putting the safety of students and teachers at risk. Furthermore, it is impacting the timely attendance of students and the overall educational experience, which is critical for the future of our children.

Why It Is Urgent:

• The high school in Dikhing is a key educational institution for the surrounding villages, and the road is essential for ensuring that students can travel safely and reliably to attend school.

• The current condition of the road is having a direct negative impact on the quality of education, as the delays and difficulty in reaching the school affect both students and teachers.

• Paving the road will enhance safety, improve access to education, and foster community development. It will also ease transportation for parents and other community members who need to access the village for various reasons.

Our Request: We kindly request that the government and relevant authorities prioritize the paving of the 4 km gravel road leading to Dikhing Village. A paved road will not only solve the current transportation issues but will also contribute to the overall growth and development of our community.

We believe that this project will have a lasting positive impact on the residents of Dikhing and the surrounding areas. We urge the responsible authorities to take immediate action to improve the road conditions and ensure the safety and well-being of our community.
