We, the undersigned residents of Regatta Street Henley on Klip, kindly request the installation of speed bumps along our street in order to improve safety and protect lives. Our community has observed an alarming increase in vehicles speeding through our residential area due to eliminate speed bumps in Ewelme Street Henley On Klip, posing a serious threat to pedestrians, children, and other road users.

Reasons for this petition: Pedestrian Safety: Many pedestrians, including children walking to and from the library, runners frequently use this street. Speeding vehicles significantly increase the risk of accidents.

Traffic Calming: Speed bumps are a proven method to reduce vehicle speeds and ensure responsible driving.

Community Well-Being: Creating a safer street will enhance the quality of life for all residents and encourage outdoor activities. We believe that speed bumps are a necessary measure to prevent potential accidents and protect our community members. We kindly urge Midvaal Local Municipality to prioritize this matter and take action promptly.
