Residents Aganist Parking Restrictions - North Square

OM PROPERTY MANAGEMENT ARE PROPOSING PARKING RESTRICTIONS ON NORTH SQUARE

In a recent communication to the residents of North Square, Chapelford.  OM Property Management are proposing further parking restrictions in the North Square area.

As residents and neighbours I am sure we are all aware that we all need to be vigilant and considerate in our parking, however after the council made the decision to implement double yellow lines on the Boulevard in Oct 2013 the impact was felt in North Square.

I for one protested against this, causing issues with parking on North Square was my main concern, any extra parking restrictions would only compound an already difficult situation.

OM Property Management have already indicated that if enough residents agree to further restrictions they will enforce these by using a private parking enforcement company of which the residents will foot the bill.

We all know there is an issue with parking in many areas of Chapelford, I am sure none of the residents of North Square condone dangerous or inconsiderate parking however any further restrictions and residents and visitors of North Square will literally have no where to park!

We need to make a stand, whether it's an issue of house builders not considering the layouts properly and trying to maximise problems of individuals not buying houses adequate to suit their needs, parking is an problem, the solutions is NOT to impose further restrictions!
