KEEP OUR CHILDREN SAFE FROM PAEDOPHILE ON OUR DOORSTEP
"A PAEDOPHILE FOUND WITH MORE THAN 180 INDECENT IMAGES OF CHILDREN IS TODAY A FREE MAN AFTER BEING SPARED A JAIL TERM"
This is the news that has rocked the Chantry Estate in Ipswich last week. 115 images at a Level 1, seven at Level 2, 45 at Level 3, 17 at Level 4 and three at Level 5 (Level 5 being the most serious) and the offender was given a 6-month prison sentence suspended for 2 years, banned from accessing pornography on the internet for 2 years, must participate in sexual offender treatment for 36 days and made to sign the sexual offenders regster for 10 years!
He has already had a previous conviction for a similar offfence in 2005.
This man lives and trades at the local shops yet none of the local schools (a special needs school, a high school, 3 primary schools and 2 pre-schools, one of which is overlooked by his home and shop) were made aware of his conviction as he wasn't considered "a risk".
The hearing was held at a Magistrates Court...the same place where you go for non-payment of a TV licence, non-payment of Council Tax, minor driving offences etc etc...does the safety of our children not warrant a Crown Court...possession of this sort of material is a criminal offence yet he was treated as a victim...and still is.
Please sign our petition to have this monster moved from our community, also to reinforce the need for full disclosure of sex offenders within a community and to ensure that crimes of this nature are heard at a Crown Court in all circumstances.
