Keep Mr Smith as Our Kids’ Leader of Wellbeing

We, the undersigned parents and caregivers, are deeply saddened to hear that Mr Smith will no longer continue as our children’s Leader of Wellbeing.

Mr Smith has been an outstanding mentor, role model, and source of support for our kids. His compassion, understanding, and dedication have had a lasting positive impact on their wellbeing and development.

We understand that Mr Watson would like Mr Smith to remain with the Year 9 group to continue running The Rites Journey program, which we appreciate is an important initiative. However, we strongly believe that Mr Smith’s ongoing presence and leadership in the wellbeing role would bring far greater benefit to the wider group of students he has already built strong relationships with.

We respectfully ask the school leadership to reconsider this decision and allow Mr Smith to continue supporting our children through to the end of their high school journey.

Our kids trust him, respect him, and thrive under his guidance — and we believe his continued involvement is in their best interests. ❤️
