Justice for Alizwa Lisa: No Bail for the Accused

On the 25th of May 2025, our beloved son, cousin, friend, and community member, Alizwa Lisa, was brutally and senselessly murdered. This tragic and violent act has left a deep wound in our family, our community, and in all who knew him.

We are calling on the justice system to stand firmly against granting bail to the individual accused of this horrific crime.

Granting bail in such a serious and violent case not only undermines the severity of the crime but also puts the safety of witnesses and the broader community at risk. It sends a damaging message that such acts can be met with leniency.

We, the undersigned, demand that the perpetrator be held in custody while awaiting trial. Justice must take its full course without compromise. Alizwa deserves that. His family and our community deserve that.
