IELTS Problems In IRAN

To whom it may concern

 We are writing to inform you about a significant incident that occurred during the IELTS test in Iran. On 29th July, we were scheduled to take the IELTS exam, but just before the start of the test, the examiners informed us that the test had been compromised and had to be stopped immediately

Afterward, we were informed that we could reschedule the test for another day. However, to our disappointment, on August 1st, we were informed that all tests for the month of August have been canceled. Additionally, we were told that the only option available now is to take the computer-based IELTS which is so disappointing cause the lack of access to paper-based IELTS is a violation of candidate right.

Now we are quite concerned about these sudden changes, as they have disrupted our plans and preparations for the test. Moreover, we were counting on the August test dates, and with the cancellation of all tests for the month, it has created uncertainty for us. We were also told that we can request a refund due to the cancellation of the tests in August, but we remain worried about the availability of future test dates and the impact on our academic or immigration plans. Adding to our concerns, the examination centers have notified us of the cancellation of the paper-based test originally scheduled for September 2nd. Furthermore, since the start of August, new registrations for computer-delivered IELTS tests in both August and September have been restricted, with exceptions made only for candidates whose paper-based IELTS tests were canceled in August.

We kindly request further clarification on the situation and any updates regarding future test dates in Iran and hope that the authorities can address this matter promptly and offer suitable alternatives for all affected candidates.

By making a formal request to have the Paper-Based IELTS tests conducted under the supervision of the Australian embassy,we believe that having the embassy oversee the test process would ensure a fair and secure examination environment.
