Housing and Gentrification in Milan

Milan citizens identify housing as a growing crisis. The rapid gentrification has caused long-term residents to leave their neighbourhoods as the rents rise, affordable homes become rare and the priority shifts to luxury developments catering to wealthier novel residents rather than the needs of long-rooted residents.

we have to endure watching rising rents, unfair expulsions and loss of community areas creating a city that only a few may afford, while many fight for the place they call 'home'. 

Therefore we shall unite and take action, the first step to a better future is signing this petition demanding for fair housing.
