Hire Steve Alford to lead Indiana University basketball!!!
It's way past time for Indiana basketball to once again become a nationally competitive program! We need a former star and leader like Steve Alford (1987 National Championship team) to lead us back to greatness! From his early days coaching at Manchester College to his current job leading UCLA he has learned his lessons well and is a nationally respected and winning coach. Steve Alford will turn the tide of the best players in the state leaving for other Big 10 schools. He also has great contacts nationally most particularly in California. I'm tired of mediocrity. I'm tired of teams being great in December then getting worse not better as the season progresses. It's time to regain respect and start competing for Big 10 and National Championships every year. To start winning at home. Assembly Hall is no longer a competitive advantage. Long time fans know how intimidating it used to be for our opponents. It needs to become that again. That's what great teams and coaches do. It's our time again!
