Jim Burton has been very informative & knowledgable.I always watch him on the morning & noon weather on WJAC TV.Miss his friendly & up beat personality.Please bring him back if at all possible.Thank You.

I can't believe this. I'm very upset to hear that the station would get rid of such a great meteorologist. Very disappointed, I think they are making the wrong changes.

Jim Burton was not only a great meteorologist, he was also community oriented. He did a lot of work with non profit organizations and the community. If he wasn't well liked, there wouldn't have been so many people upset with his departure.

Watched every morning for years at 5AM getting ready for work-kept close eye on the weather as I worked outside (mailman).
My observation: The man is a gentleman and you would be lucky to have him as friend.

 I've heard from a few people that Jim was in some sort of physical altercation with someone down in Punxsutawney. He was there for Groundhogs Day. This is the only answer I got when asking why was he let go.

Jim Burton is one of the more knowledgeable and likable meteorologists and he is the only reason I watched WJAC's forecast. I have already blocked this channel and will do any other's that are affiliated with this unjust termination. I am tired of all the negativity this small minded town is offering.

Enjoyed waking up to morning 0500 crew & weather forecasts by Jim. His presence on the morning show was an upbeat start to my day, plus his forecasts were on target. Find myself watching more of WTAJ now. Who is next on the chopping block...Marty, Jen, Tim, or Tony? Seems no one is safe. I will surely stop watching WJAC for sure if you get rid of any more crew members.

They need to bring him back because he's the most respected weatherman they have had in years. Also, they need to say why he's not there because some people are spreading bad rumors of why he's no longer there.

Jim is a supportive figure for the community, he gives back! he was channel 6, known and lived by all. he added alot of personality to the team, and for viewers!
