Because I suffer from Syringomyelia and Chiari malformation.

It's been an extremely hard disease to diagnose, treat, and manage. Doctors need to be on board concerning diagnoses and treatment of this and related diseases.

People are dying unnecessarily, and some of the contributing factors could have been prevented.

The reason I signed this petition is because my sister-in-law was diagnosed with Syringomyelia and I am hoping by signing there will be more awareness brought to this dreadful disease. It's horrible to watch a loved one suffer in pain every day!!

A horseback accident caused mine. I live with pain and weakness everyday as well as a lot of other symptoms. We need awareness. We need a cure.

My dog, Lucy has SM and Chiari Malformation, auto immune encephalitis and meningitis. It's been horrible since being diagnosed in December of 2014. I hope that whether you sign for more awareness for people or because you love someone affected by it, that you sign and forward- "share". I have syringomyelia and trying to get people to understand what is wrong is so frustrating. Have been told by my neurological surgeon and three doctors that I will never be able to work again. Please sign the petition

I signed because I was recently diagnosed with this awful disease. I have had a hell of a time getting help dealing with the various issues including severe pain.
