NO PETS IN MARLOTH PARK

Pets do not belong in Nature conservation areas. Marloth Park is a nature conservation area. Pets are a danger to the wildlife. The By Laws of Marloth Park state that Pets are not allowed on the area.

As a concerned citizen and regular holiday maker at beautiful Marloth Park, I am wholly against the exposure of wildlife to domestic pets and possible diseases.

I have property in Marloth and I don't want domestic animals disturbing the wild animals. Cats is most definitely a no because they inbreed with the wild cat. Dogs disturb the wild life and who wants to hear a dog bark, if you can hear a lion roar!

Pets will disrupt and disturb the wildlife. We are the guests of the animals, not the other way around.

As property owner, I see Marloth Park as a Wild Life Park, with wild life and NOT cat and dogs, like for instance Fields dog that barks endlessly. If I visit Marloth Park its for the silence and wild life.

Because I've moved to Marloth Park last year from Johannesburg at had to find loving families for all my pets that I had for years from 2-12 yrs. I feel that it was the right thing to do and stay with the rules of my new hometown. I didn't want to see my "children"ripped apart by a wild animal....I love them too much to be so selfish...

I love Marloth Park and it is against the rules and regulations. Dogs and their owners should be banned from the bush.

Marloth Park is basically a nature reserve.

2 cats owned by our neighbours have killed bushbabies and seriously reduced thd birdlife in our garden.

A Conservancy is a very special, protected environment. If we, as Marloth Park property owners and residents, do not honour the code of practice for our own environment, how can we expect more from visitors and acquisitive developers?
