I lived in mayfield road for 15 years and my dad is still there. people drive so fast its about time something is done.

I live on Mayfield road not far from that junction & have done for 11 years, we have tried to get something done down here & what the council have done is useless. Someone is going to get killed on that junction one day & its right by a school!!!

Lived on mayfield for 11 years,always said it needs speed bumps to slow the traffic down not them useless islands on the junction,they don't make any difference atall!
Something needs to be done before somebody else gets hurt!

I live in mayfield road and people drive like maniacs down it. There are many children living in the road and it's like a race track sometimes. It's only a matter of time before someone is killed. There have already been many many accidents on the junction of woodcote road but people still continue to speed down it!

I totally support this is walk my children to school on this road everyday and there's at least 1 accident a month as people travelling down Mayfield do not relise it's a give way half way down the road.
It's so dangerous and something needs to be done before there is a fatality here.
Enough people have already been hurt.

My husband had an accident on this same stretch of road 14 years ago. The car was a write off but thankfully he didn't have any injuries.

think its important to keep safe young children elderly and public safe this is a very dangerous and busy road,i have neices and nephews in and around swaythling and worry for their safety.

Because i lived on Mayfield for 16 years. There's been so many car crashes during them years it's unreal... We need to make it safer, especially as there is a school on that road!!!

Because it is needed it was my granddaughter and family that was in a bad accident at this crossroad in no fault of there own.

Friends and family use this road a lot. The family affected are close friends and another accident (recently) has happened there. I'm always weary of that road as know people traveling down (or up) are not aware of the give way sign.

My daughter had a really bad accident on that road .. It's awful.. Stupid place to have a give way!
