I signed it because I want justice for Jacobs family & I think the killer should rot in jail or maybe rot in one of the worlds worst prison for what he did .he doesn't disserve to walk away a free man for what he did. charge him as an adult put him in jail his lock the door & throw away the key to his jail cell

Because the law is the law shouldn't change the laws because he is a kid. Do an adult crime pay the adult time. Not gonna learn a thing if they break the rules for him. At least he is still breathing unlike the young man he shot with intentions to shoot.

I signed this petition because this entire thing is just ridiculous. A young future hero of our country gunned down by an animal who was never tamed by his parents. The age of these shooters keeps getting younger and younger. This killer needs to be the EXAMPLE the rest of these other cowards need to take notice of. Especially these young kids who have no thought process because they think they can get away with it. JUSTICE FOR JACOB

From what I understand he had shot him for the bike because he was late to a basketball game if he had gotten that bike and made his way to the game what else would have happened I send my deepest sympathies to Jacobs parents and I have no remorse for what happens to that little bastard you have the balls to pull the trigger then you have the balls to spend the time in prison R.I.P Jacob a life taken and a life wasted

Jacob was murdered during a robbery.. in broad daylight.. on a city street.. in front of two other boys.The gun that was aimed at Jacob.. didn't "load" itself nor did it go off without the finger that pulled the trigger.YES we need justice for Jacob! Young people need to see that there are HUGE consequences to their actions. By taking this crime and saying, oh you're just a kid, you shouldn't have to answer for this as if you're an adult, is sending the wrong message, not only to the perpetrator, but to everyone. We are losing our humanity and need desperate measures to get back on track. This young man gives the appearance of having no remorse. He took the life of a young man with so much promise. His parents and family deserve to know that he mattered.
