The closure means much longer journeys for many children, and will create even more congestion on Hainault Rd.

Surprisingly, the school did not even consult with the parents on this decision by carrying out a survey(which is normally the protocol for many schools). Neither did they carry out H&S assessment with the help of parents at all gates, so how can come to this conclusion?? and Last but not the least, that how can school disregard parents' wishes against the closure of the back gate, which will definitely result in angry drivers, more accidents, extreme congestion and hazard to life, inconvenience to parents and students, as well as more people tripping over!!!
Extremely insensitive decision without keeping in mind the parents wishes and concerns and still stubborn to even consider it!!! More importantly its been 20+ years without any issue!! :(

There is a real concern regarding the safety of the children as there is no longer a lollipop person and there will be a significant increase in traffic at the front of the school. What alternative options have been considered by the school? Has there been an incident which has led to this decision? It would be helpful if the school could provide more information regarding the decision making.
