Our daughter was recently unwell and needed hospitalisation in a specialist unit.
The nearest unit with a bed was 125 miles away, we were having to travel in excess of 1000 miles per week to visit during her three month stay.
A closer unit in Bridgwater had closed due to lack of funding, it's about time Taunton had fair funding for such services instead of buying the services from the private sector at inflated prices

Somerset is growing massively especially with the new Hinkley Point build. About time we had the proper infrastructure to support what in effect, will affect everyone.

people need to be made more aware of the effects of Tory policies on not only funding, but every aspect of daily life, especially in traditional Tory strongholds where many voters are blind to the problems of others around them
