yes, thank you, we are aware that not everyone will be able to attend, but those who are working that day will do so in their break time.We are hoping some will attend on their day off too, we already know of some who have confirmed their attendence.... :)

I'm sorry I can't make it as I can't drive due to a broken arm .. Good luck
Guest#4 Mar 24, 2014, 13:35
im sorry i would attend but am away that weekend
Guest#5 Mar 24, 2014, 13:37
Won't that be the main time for most Nurses and other staff to have there handover? surely theres a better time for a better turn out?
Guest#6 Mar 24, 2014, 13:39
Hello, Sorry I am working on the 28th . I work at Torbay so can't attend . All the best though. There are problems with parking permits here too .
Kind regards
Yvonne

Sorry I can't join you, but staff, whose pay has been reducing in real terms when the salaries of employers and their minions have increased should not be penalised for working in public services (which is what Andrew Lansley once respecfully called them).

I do not support this large rise in carparking costs. I am concerned for staff on lower incomes. I am concerned that this will drive staff away from working here at Derriford.
I accept that the Trust is in need of raising funds but would accept a gradual increase.

Good luck to you all. My daughter in law work as a nurse there which is why I signed the petition. I am also a nurse in Aberdeen and have already had this fight AND WON
Guest#10 Mar 24, 2014, 18:53
cannot be there as I live 60 miles away, but support the petition as my daughter is a staff nurse at Derriford

You don't wanna pay the increase and you want it stopped - however none seems to be wanting to join a protest why should we do it all for you!! Cheers for support
Guest#12 Mar 24, 2014, 22:03
Wishing you every success. Alas I have to work so must decline your invitation. Good luck x
Guest#13 Mar 25, 2014, 09:21
Unfortunately I will be away that day,but wish you good luck.
Guest#14 Mar 25, 2014, 10:09
It is almost impossible for many staff to attend this protest however much they may wish as this time of day is a very busy time. Im sure you would get many more showing their support at some time in the middle of the day. And can i ask? what sort of impact do you think will be achieved protesting at the back of beyond, at the health and leisure centre? Surely you would raise more awareness and make more impact at the fromt of the hospital, at the main entrance, or has that been quashed by higher management?

There's a Trust board meeting taking place at the Health and Leisure centre on friday morning, where they'll be addressing the parking charges.

Guest#17 Mar 26, 2014, 06:13
