This Park needs some lighting as locals use it often as an access to the main Edinburh Road, and considering the amount of incidents that happen here it is long overdue,also cctv would make it easier for the Police to apprehend the people who are making this Park a No.go Area which is right in the middle of the Estate/Scheme....

The Lighting does need sorted.
But the lighting is not the problem nor wont solve the problem !
It the way people are raised thats the problem...junkie and alkies at home,parents more interested in buying fags than tezching their children how to be a good person.
Parents who dont give a feck what their weans do outside.
Leave the scheme behind is the best option,i for one wont bring my child up in a shite hole,where the scum around me sit on their arse all day claiming benefits. so i work mega in order to pay for a nice house in a nice safe clean area.

Stayed in cranhill all my life.thers been loads of murders through years.serious assaults etc.but this has really spooked a lot of people.hopefully jeans death.something good has to come out of it.i think after they get the or those bastards.people will start lookin out more for vunerable folk.cranhill park is a centrepoint for all of cranhill.it should b a place wer woman kids and elderly should enjoy and feel 100% safe there.so come on .we cant bring jean back but lets make it a place were our future can enjoy safely.

Terrifed to walk past the park now myself its really scared the full community I work withtin and live in cranhill I do not feel safe atall something has to be done has lovely ppl and the reputation were getting is bad were not all like that in cranhill I meet loads of lovely ppl daily
