Camp Site for London

We can never find a pitch in London!

This site would be a boon for anybody coming to London from the north and west eliminating the need to use circular perimeter roads.I recently spent literally hours on the south circular travelling to and from the Crystal Palace site.

We need much a much wider range of accommodation in the London area. Camping and Caravanning is very popular with visitors to the UK. London is missing out big time.

There is always room for another camp site in London

Another site is needed in the London Area The two Caravan Club ones are always full just when you want them.

The more camp sites there are the better especially one on the outskirts of London We could use it for Wimbledon

I hope it goes through. We've used the Crystal Palace site a few times but I believe it is due to close - not sure when though. Good luck.

Good luck trying to get to Wimbeldon from here!  I live close to the propsed site and it takes at least 1.5 hours to get there!

Just to be clear, there are some inaccuracies in the description ......the West End is 50 mins away NOT 30 and Wembley is 15 by train and 25 driving......thats if the trains are on time or there is no traffic!......not minutes away as descibed. There is strong local oposition to this site as it will mean local playing fields are being taken out of use. We also have traffic issues regarding the site which is proposed in the middle of a residential area.

Most London carAvan sites tend to be to the south of the city! addition of another to the north would be beneficial.
