Alternative Medical aid for Government officials

Gems is too expensive .it seems as if I'm not subsidised

I'm not satisfied with the services offered by gems.if atleast their premiums were not this high. Every year thy increase premium with an increase thts higher than the percentage that our government is giving us for that year. To me gems now seems to be a daylight robbery for government employees.

We are paying to much for medical aid and yet cum mid year our funds r exhausted but yet we paying its like we paying for a pig in a sack

I want nothing with gems anymore, monthly contribution are increasing and less services we get as I write we no longer get antibiotics when we need them. Gems must fall

We demand better! Let the state subsidise all medical aids! Being limited to choice because of subsidy I just like being fed nuts when you are allergic to them! Akungadlalwa ngathi size sibone!

Gems is expensive. As much it's said one is subsidised it's not helping at all. Having to see one doctor is a nightmare, especially when one knows that the service provided is not up to standard

Useless medical aid and it doesn't pay medical professionals. I'm a health service provider and GEMS doesn't pay my claims. Its a big struggle.

Gems is really playing games with us. We need change.

Medical aid is riping us off

We pay Germs every months but they are not afraid to tell you that you don't have funds or you must pay consaltation fee, or send you statement that you are owing them money if don't pay they will block you

expensive .im paying a lot of money but i cant get proper medication in pharmacy coz gems medical aid wont authorize it .only five consultation per year then is exhausted

We as government employees need the freedom to chose the medical schemes of our own and not be held at gunpoint

I am not certified with the benefits that I was given in the maternity program whereas I pay more money on a monthly basis even if when the medical aid does not have funds we keep on contributing. #Gems must fast fall.

Gems is no longer competitive. They reject claims. High co payments for services. Why do we get individual limits? We're supposed to share the risk per family not per dependant. That is daylight robery.

Because m not happy with Gems services

I am signing because I have had the most horrible experience possible, all because GEMS is the only med aid that my ex-employer subsidises.

This entire system is a thieving monopoly that does NOT care about the health and wellbeing of government employees.

I now hate GEMS with a passion. I hope all of the administrators and senior managers and owners suffer even a fraction of what I have had to endure thanks to your unethical, greedy policies and government monopoly. May you all get cancer and never find a cure, and may your families suffer too as a result!
