The Pillay family as a whole(4 members)condemn this bigotted behaviour. In comparison to the Abrahamic scriptures, the Gita can never be viewed as "extremist". There are no injunctions or commandments to the believers at large to go out and kill on ideological or ethnic grounds & commit mass slaughter & destruction. The advise to Arjuna is for a particular war,and a particular enemy & in order to encorage him when he becomes despondent. The Gita advocates ahimsa on more than one occasion as the norm for society. Violence can only be used as a last resort. The violence is nothing compared to the genocidal killing in the Bible
