The government need to realise they cannot impose such HUGE cuts to an important public service such as a police force without it breaking the back of the force & service, resulting in a force that CANNOT provide safety, security, support and public confidence. PCSO's are a key part of the machine and their existence not only assists the public in numerous ways from crime prevention, to victim support. But they also free up police officers to attend current incidents.

I signed this petition because we need the police far more policemen, not less, as the incident this week implies! They are hardworking people who put there lives on the line everyday! Especially if the government is so set in bringing so many refugees in! Cut local councillors and spend money on the basics, i.e the National Health, doctors! Don't push England backwards!

Cant cull the police force , stretched enough as it is.
Why does Merseyside keep getting the brunt , from govt.cuts to no.s of asylum seekers?
