 Are you saying that keeping jobs in Athabasca is to the students detriment? Many of our students are from rural communities. What kind of message are we sending to them if we think we'll take their money but won't hire in communities like theirs?

A. U. has provided an excellent service to students
who actually attend and for those who do on line
courses. It is reasonably affordable and with the high costs
at other venues, AU is a good fit for many. Keep it open,
provide proper funding which will allow them to continue
to do the good work into the future. tnx/lg

Athabasca university has been THE university to go to when u work full time and don't have time to go to classes. I have taken course through them over the years as well as many of my friends from the east coast as there is no one like them out there.

I have taken classes from Athabaska University and appreciated the convenience. I was able to take classes I needed that wouldn't fit into my schedule otherwise. If this institution is important to keeping this town alive, please allow it to stay. It's a very valuable institution.
