Call for Immediate Ceasefire and Peace Between Cambodia and Thailand

We call for peace between Cambodia and Thailand and an immediate ceasefire.

Peace cannot be built while one side continues military attacks that kill civilians, displace communities, and endanger religious sites, schools, and villages. In 2025, Cambodian civilians suffered from repeated Thai military operations along the border.

As of 2 PM this afternoon on Monday, December 15, 2025, the number of Cambodian civilian deaths has tragically increased to 15, including one baby just 36 days old. The number of injured civilians stands at 73. Meanwhile, the crisis has led to a significant surge in the displaced population (refugees), which has now reached 409,293 people, and this number is unfortunately expected only to increase.

This violence must stop.

We urge:

- Thailand to immediately halt all military actions against Cambodian territory and civilians.

- The United Nations Security Council to urgently convene to stop Thai aggression and act to prevent further escalation.

- Support Prime Minister Anwar’s call for an immediate ceasefire and require Thailand to return to the Kuala Lumpur Peace Accord (26 October 2025).

- Embassies and the international community to press for an immediate ceasefire, restraint, and accountability.

- The international community to reject false equivalence and recognise that Cambodian civilians were victims of sustained military escalation.

We call on peace-loving people around the world to sign this petition and stand for dialogue over destruction.

No more war. No more civilian suffering. Peace must prevail.
