We urge immediate action to protect and restore the natural habitats of our native eels (tuna). Eels are vital to our waterways, ecosystems, and cultural heritage, yet their populations are in sharp decline due to habitat loss.
Why This Matters: Eels rely on clean, connected rivers and wetlands for migration, breeding, and growth. Human activities like dam construction, pollution, and wetland drainage have severely disrupted these environments, threatening the survival of eel species.
