AQHA To Acknowlegde The Champagne Colours
At present the AQHA recognises the champagne colours but does not acknowledge or reflect this on the horses registration paper. Currently, a champagne horse will be listed as palomino or buckskin which is genetically different and creates confusion and a dis service to breeders, owners and buyers alike.
