Appointment of Lieutenant General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi for the Cwecwe case
We, the undersigned, are deeply concerned about the handling of the Cwecwe case and the potential for injustice. We urge you to appoint Lieutenant General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi as a special investigator to ensure a thorough, transparent, and unbiased investigation.
The current investigation has been marred by inconsistencies, loopholes, and concerns of tampering. We believe that Lieutenant General Mkhwanazi's expertise, integrity, and commitment to justice make him the ideal candidate to handle this case.
We request that Lieutenant General Mkhwanazi:
- Restart the investigation from the beginning
- Collect new DNA samples and send them to at least 5 different labs anonymously
- Conduct a comprehensive review of the case, addressing all concerns and loopholes
