ALLOW FACEBOOK MESSENGER CALLS TO BE SWITCHED OFF

I am a British Asian Female starting a petition to have an option on facebook messenger for calls to be switched off.

We do not always add people we know on facebook and at times people amass a following and friends of people whom they dont know. 

We have an option to switch off our messenger so why do we not have an option to switch off calls only?

I feel absolutley hounded by people who call day and night and I feel blocking someone every few minutes is just impossible. 

The facebook messenger feature for calls is currently unbelievably invasive and a total violation of someones privacy. Whether you chose to accept or decline that call it still remains a call that has come through without the caller having your mobile number!!!!!

There really is only one option if you install messenger, be prepared for messages and calls too!

People call all day and all night from different parts of the world not bearing in mind that firstly, I do not ewant to receive calls and secondly, the time difference between countries.

I feel being a female i am targeted more than if i were a male! This leaves me feeling rather uncomfortable and vulnerable and is a feeling no one should feel! 

If i wanted calls then the people calling would have had my number but this is clearly not the case. 

Hounding someone with unwanted contact is not the way forward and facebook should definatley not be encouraging this type of behaviour!!

I do not want to have to IGNORE it, I want it to STOP altogether.
