Better Choices for Mercer County Development

We the undersigned as citizens of Mercer County and Kentucky, hereby address the Public Service Commission in regards to the LG&E solar project(s) to be located in Mercer County.  The project on Hwy 127 has stalled economic development projects that would have produced up to 7000 new jobs for the area. As most small counties, the tax base is essential to our community and would greatly increase our ability to provide more services to our citizens. The LG&E project will provide zero jobs and will take away the current tax revenue from the properties in question. We ask that the commission allow the citizens and it's officials to make the decisions for our county.image000000[1].pngimage000000[1]1.png
