/ #352014-11-30 16:12Lives are more important than laws! Field's Hill was not built to cope with the modern large trucks : they MUST use the toll road and make a plan to deliver goods to the Highway area in smaller vehicles. It's NOT impossible! Lives are more important than convenience. PLEASE!
I was stuck in that traffic jam on Friday 28th Nov for 2 hours and missed a Christmas lunch for seniors __I consider myself fortunate : others were stuck for longer. A couple known to me missed their flights to America, costing them an extra R9000. The lady lost her life! Those witnessing it were traumatised, her family were traumatised, officials having to deal with everything were traumatised! WHY? TRUCK OWNERS MUST BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE !! These vehicles MUST NOT BE ALLOWED ON FIELD"S HILL !!! |
