Let me tell you something, when I started lecturing in the Masters that I have been working with the last 4 yrs, we had to start with 60 apllicants for 40 places. I began lecturing 10 hours and now I lecture 92 and I ma responsible for 7 courses in this master. in 2012 we had 450 applicants to the EEJSI course, in 2013 850. Why? Because the course delivered quality teaching and teachers who are good role models. The course had a huge publicity when they heard that there was an English lecturer who devoted herself to the course and students 100%. We were awarded AAA from the French department of Education, highest mark a course can get, and why all this? Because I do my work with love and dedication and at no moment do I think about how much I earn, which isnt much. That is what being a devoted teacher/lecturer is. |
