I also sent an email along similar lines.

Given the understandable huge interest in this tournament it might have been fairer to have a ballot system to determine entries. Then everyone would have had the opportunity to put up a team for the ballot and a chance of playing.

Instead it seems like those ‘in the Know’ or who were lucky enough to be at club when the notice went up are the only ones with the opportunity to play

Would it be possible to allow some additional teams to play on the day prior (15th) and then still be part of the end of day activities on the 16th?
