Hartlepool needs a hospital

One man died waiting nearly 2 hours for ambulance it took me 30 minutes to get to nortjh tees hospital yesterday this is a sick joke on our 90.,000 people

Understaffed and overworked is what I have seen at North Tees. Referring patients to James Cook as at capacity on wards. Hartlepool is a large enough to warrent the need for its own hospital with labour wards, childrens wards and A & E. How many people have to be put at risk or even worse lose their lives to prove this point????

we need our hospital, hartlepool has always had a hospital.
it will be greatly missed ! like a lot of people, we have been glad of it, like when my husband had his heart attack, knowing we had our own hospital to go to was a great comfort to us both !

Hartlepool should not close its hospital it's only30years old, theirs loads ove hospitals that are a lot older. people in the colliery will be dead by the time we get to a hospital also now you complain A E cannot cope yet you have closed most ove them down disgraceful.

Hartlepool is a growing town and needs a hospital closer than North Tees...It seems Hartlepool always comes second best...

There was a time Hartlepool had 4 Hospitals and look at us now, We had Camerons, Granthuly ?Hartlepool & the General so why the hell do we end up with nothing ...

Over 90,000 + people in Hartlepool and no a+e ...some people don't have the means to get to the nearest hospital in another town...we have no pharmacy open either on a Sunday evening either...how many people need to suffer before we get took seriously!

We need a hospital!

I think it's ridicules that if I or my child is poorly and needs medical help we have to travel to north tees with no car!!!
Then has to get a ambulance when it might not be life threatening and there's people out there who need an ambulance!!! The world is so messed up right now with all these black,foreign, Indian and everything else is here now we cant help
People who actually are born and bread in England cant get the treatment we need because it's over populated!

So basically we need an a+e pronto!!!!!! Use messed it up by taken it away so bring it back sharphish

it is disgracefull that hartlposol has no hospital for 150000 people thet live in this area

I have family in hartlepool and there elderly I'd hate for them to have to travel and pass away friends that are pregnant north teEs and James cook are to far away hence why it has its own hospital

Unfortunately our hospital will not be saved, I've signed but it's about money. There isn't enough money to run all hospitals in the area so we got the short straw and are losing our hospital. Complete joke. The figures will soon show that an A&E is something Hartlepool needs.

you dont know how much we need this until you have to trail backwards and forwards too north tees or james cook and its costing lives taking our medical services away from us it beggars belief

A man died today in Hartlepool a friend named as Kenny Angus a father of 2 and although both grown up he was still there dad, he might have had a better chance of surviving if!!!!!!! Hartlepool's hospital was open if!!!!! Our A&E was open, but no! They expect us from Hartlepool to travel, we pay our taxes we pay and should have our hospital , but it'll be knocked down for more houses, who'll get them, probably immigrants who shouldn't be here. What is our country coming too..... Rest in peace kenny angus god bless my friend.
