Wow, this is amazing news - I also live on on the A2037 opposite Broadmere Common and we see accidents all through the winter on the ice as people drive too fast. Well done David!

Well done David and everyone involved. I will feel much safer coming out of Fircroft on the bad Barrow Hill bend now. Hopefully Highways will now also fix the overflowing drain outside our house that runs down Barrow Hill and crosses the road, freezing in cold weather. It hasn't rained for weeks now but due to houses being allowed to discharge their waste water into it the problem continues until Highways unblock it. Sue McLaughlin
