There needs to be help given as lots of abuse survivors need help to get over the trauma to live a normal adulthood and be productive members of society and good parents
Many of them are unable to do this due to the damage caused by the abuse

We must never forget that ultimately it is the perpetrators of these crime against children who need to be brought to justice but anything that helps that process.....we support.

#4 - You are absolutely right the perpetrators do need to be bought to justice however in the meantime they leave a trail of debris behind them - secrets, lies, shame. The survivor has to deal with untold amount of damage that needs to be dealt with before they can feel worthwhile and lead a 'normal' life.

It is time for change, this is long overdue. It's about time we got this sorted out as abuse is unacceptable in our culture, perpetrators deserve harder longer sentences and survivors are destroyed without support and intervention from people who understand the damage it causes.

I`m right behind Chris Tuck on this and will share, share & share again to reach his target asap, as I`m sure many others will too. It`s a disgrace that our "system" does more to "help" the perpetrator than it does to help the victims and the fact that we do not already have a single agency for support is an outrage!!

chris im right behind you and will support you as a family member. we experianced both phyiscal and emotional abuse and some of our siblings sexual . its time to stand firm and justice against these sick scumbags.
