This governor is unchecked and absolutely poses a multitude of injustices and fraud that has never been seen before. It's embarrassing to be a marylander under Moore administration with how he continues to ruin and stick his money filthy hands in everything he has 0 long term solution or understanding of in the current economy. This is absolutely under his control to ignore and stay out of while in office. He has burned enough of our tax dollars on his own horid planning and ideas This is just the cherry on top for car collectors and enthusiasts such as myself. Sad to see this bill contain these elements without any reasonable context. Greed plain old greed is all this governor is caple of and will continue to pursue with nobody but himself at the center of his policy. Disrespectfully go***** yourself mr.Moore .Noah Kline (Davidsonville, 2025-05-22)

I belive the regulations on the year cap of vehicles is correct. I do not belive it needs to be changed vehicles the year of 2005 are becoming harder to get correct parts for and harder to maintain the correct standards for state inspections over little petty things. As the owner of a mechanic shop I belive it. Should be left aloneJoe Leager (Darlington, 2025-05-22)

The 20 year rule on historic tags is plenty. There is no need for higher fees, taxes, or further in depth registration on vehicles that are a quarter of a century old. The current law is fine the way it is.James Frank (Baldwin, 2025-05-22)

im signing because it should be perfectly legal to keep the historic plates 25 years or older. there is nothing wrong with 2000-2005 vehicles being historic as a 25 year old car i. these days is considered old or ancient.nick stupi (Bel Air, 2025-05-22)

I’m signing because this because this is a stupid idea and should not be necessary to come up with money. If he’s spent that much already, maybe the issue is spending, not a lack of charging state residentsConnor Metzbower (Westminster, 2025-05-22)

I love historic vehicles and regularly take mine to and from car shows on weekends, and to mandate a safety inspection on old vehicles is completely ridiculous, considering it clearly will not be up to date with safety equipment in 2025 and beyond.Devin Baker (Bel Air, 2025-05-22)

I’m signing this because Wes Moore has ruined Maryland with these constant taxes and constantly complains that people can’t afford anything but then continues to add taxes to the hard working people of MD. He blew our surplus he had and continues to blame everyone else.Brandon Weber (Baltimore, 2025-05-22)

This is just ridiculous. Everyone knows 2000-2005 vehicles will not pass inspection if they have already had historic plates. They have plates for a reason. You can't just take them away. I have a 1996 chevy and there's no way that would pass. That's only 4 years before 2000.Lillian Hardy (Bel air, 2025-05-22)

It is forcing society to buy new cars when there is nothing wrong with older vehicles , also the emissions requirements are so outdated that there is no way that these vehicles need to be tested annually . The testing process is not an accurate determination of the vehicles carbon outputCj QUEEN (Waldorf, 2025-05-22)

State legislation doubling the registration fee's in one year is too much. This is why people find other states to register their vehicles. The strong arm tax method has proven not to work.Brent Webb (QUEENSTOWN, 2025-05-22)

I do not agree with this law it is a power move for Maryland gov to take as much money from us as they can. Taking our freedom away isn’t right for the people. There is already laws to regulate historic tags.Trevor Boehm (Jarretsville, 2025-05-22)

Gov. Wes Moore has wasted our tax payer dollars, terrible governor, he takes money from everyone to just give to one select group and now he wants to destroy the car community to get more money is absolutely ridiculous and he should be taken from officeBradley Skipper (Laurel, 2025-05-22)

I had to sell my vehicle because of y’all changing this rule , it’s all a money grab . Md doesent pay wages good enough to where i could just easily buy another either , not to mention how incapable this state is at maintaining the roadsDylan Harden (Glen Burnie, 2025-05-23)

I’m signing because this is a complete money grab and unfair to the taxpayers of Maryland that work hard for their money and those that choose to spend money on vehicles that they take pride in that they take to shows and want to showcase for other people to see. With this bill race cars, show cars, etc, will not be able to be inspected which then leads to no tags. The increase in renewal costs are also absurd.Logan Linnemann (Fallston, 2025-05-23)

I am signing this because, I have a vehicle I do not drive very often it gets drove maybe once a weekend or maybe even every other weekend and the truck has been tagged historic for almost a year now and was tagged that way due to it not getting drove as much. Now with this in place I have take the truck thru inspection witch I have to pay for then go buy tags at almost $200 a year for something that might move out of my driveway 10 times a year to go to the next town over. The truck is 24 years old to get this truck to pass the strict Maryland inspection I will have to replace a lot of parts that are still good and safe but might not look good to the eyes of the inspector. Then when I get a letter in the mail I have to go spend more money and have the truck go thru emissions every few years. Again I have to do all of this on a truck that might go down the road 10 times in a year.Troy Preston (Elkton, 2025-05-23)

I have a 30 year old historic vehicle that is by no means built to fit present day emissions standards for new productions. They have already doubled registration fees and now they want me to pay even more money than I already have to in taxes to enjoy my own vehicle on the weekends.
