We use the trail at least twice per day, and ALWAYS appreciate the fact that it gets plowed. We’ve personally stopped Mike while he was plowing to thank him for his community service! Why would someone NOT want this done?

My property backs up to the trail. I am a senior and I walk the trail almost every day with my dog, sometimes more than once. As there are no sidewalks and the streets are icy in the winter and not safe to walk on. I appreciate the trail being plowed. It is a great benefit to be able to get out somewhere in the winter. I see walkers, runners and bikers all winter using the trail. Keep plowing!!!

My wife and I walk regularly on the Trail. During the winter months this is only made possible because of the outstanding work that Mike does to keep the trail clear. In our experience, when the trail was not plowed after a snow fall it would quickly become un-walkable as foot prints would freeze up and create a treacherous track. In that scenario, the trail would not be good for sledders or skiers as well. Please continue to support Mike's plowing as he generously serves our community free of charge.

I run in the wintertime, and many people with frontage sidewalks (especially along Mound Road) do not shovel the sidewalk. I appreciate being able to run the Orchard Trail, and I am thankful for Mr. Wisnewski plowing it!

This is my "go to" path to walk my dog when it snows since it is plowed, keeping us both safe. There are many other unplowed paths for those who see a need for one. It's a wonderful contribution to the community that a volunteer is willing to invest time and money to clear the path. My many thanks to him. Please don't take it away!
