I drive this road every day to take my son to school. I have lost 2x NEW windscreens, as people driving big bakkies and other vehicles, drive on high speed, shooting rocks up. The potholes are so big, theres barely tar on some places, this is not acceptable for a road we use daily

At present the road is in such poor condition only a 4x4 can survive. As there is no alternative route to town,
I have to expose my little car daily to this dangerous road especially during the rainy season. My car is not a 4x4 so it was not built with a belly plate. When you pop the bonnet, the muddy water has been sprayed all over the engine up to the inside of the bonnet. With mud on the fan belt, what consequential damage is caused? No standard vehicle has been manufactured to survive trave8 on roads in the condition like this one.
