Return From Winter Break One Week Later Due To Covid Case Rate

To Matt Hill and Honorable Burbank Unified School District Council Members,

We the parents, students, teachers of BUSD are very concerned at the record-breaking Coronavirus case rates in LA County. We would like to petition that we return from Winter break one week later in order to assess the unprecedented spreading of this new variant. We desperately do not want to disrupt education, but are also very concerned for the health of our children, teachers, and staff. An extra week could be added to the end of the school year to mirror other districts in order to not lose a week.
