#22013-09-14 15:58There is a lack of support for the parents of children newly diagnosed I recently spoke to a young mum who thought it was her fault her son is autistic it took a while to calm her as she had no idea who to turn to for help. |

#3 Re:2013-09-14 17:20:56Hi, yes it took 8 1/2 years for a diagnosis for my son, hopefully your young mum is getting some support now,locally we have Autism Anglia (based in Colchester) as well as Nationally with the National Autistic Society. I have found several pages on facebook that offer support #2: -
